RESPONSIBILITIES
•Search suppliers of screws, nuts, bolts and other types of fastening components and related industrial parts.
•Arrange a database of qualified suppliers, evaluate them, and monitor their performance on an ongoing way. Organize, conduct suppliers audits and review.
•Responsible for the on time stock supply of products.
•Enforce purchasing policies in line with France’s Headquarters practices.
•Conducts regular surveys on Chinese fasteners market.
•Reports all information to CEO.
As a lean organization, it requires the daily hands-on leadership of the Purchasing Manager, who will also act as a member of the local management team. It implies that the candidate must be proactive, possess sound business acumen, a teamwork disposition and excellent analytical and communications skills.
REQUIREMENTS
•At least 3 years experience in the same position with an international company.
•Acute knowledge of products quality standards for the related products (ISO, DIN,..), as well their Chinese GB counterpart.
•Sounding knowledge of cold forming, and products production processes.
•Computer skills (Excel, Word, Powerpoint). Knowledge of an ERP is preferred.
•A good command of English language (written and spoken) is necessary in order to keep substantial exchanges and reporting with the Company’s Headquarters in France.
